Ellen has a small private teaching practice across the South East, from Kent to Berkshire. She teaches children and adults of all abilities, from complete novices to experienced musicians. Teaching is on an individual basis. She has also given workshops in secondary schools in Kent, introducing the harp to children who have not previously experienced the instrument. Ellen is involved with The Beat Project, a registered charity which provides activities on an outreach basis throughout the Medway towns, Kent and the South East. The Beat Project runs professional workshops, clubs and courses in Music and Creative Arts. It also provides mentoring programmes, work experience, a performance platform and the opportunity for students to become involved in community projects. |
